the flights are booked on the Royal Air Maroc via Casablanca to Cairo and return - departing Montreal on 23 Sep at 22h00 with a connection of 3 hours in Casa and arriving Cairo at 19h30 next day. The minimum number of required participants for each departure is 20 persons.

Our aim is to secure small groups of a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 24 persons for each departure. For instance our April departure was only 13 persons a small additional supplement was collected from each traveller in order to ensure the departure.

Si le nombre 20 n'est pas atteint, il y aura un léger supplément à payer par participant de $ 110 (minimum 10 personnes) et le départ aura lieu comme prévu. Votre paiement doit se faire à Teambuy. Il va y avoir 2 guides : un guide anglais et un guide français. C'est ce qui a été fait pour les départs des mois d'avril et mai.

If the package is non-refundable what happens if the trip is cancelled because of low numbers? Also, you mentioned that in April a group of 13 paid extra to have the trip go ahead. How much extra did each person pay? Thank you

The extra charge for a smaller group is $ 110 (minimum 10) which is not a big deal. Despite the fact that you will enjoy much better the touristic services with a smaller group. On the other hand, if because of a force majeure situation WE are compelled to cancel, you will be refunded.

Bonjour,
Mes amis et moi avons essayé à plusieurs reprises d'acheter le forfait, dans differents ordinateurs et avec de differents cartes de crédit. Aucun d'entre nous a pu faire la transaction. Nous avons toujours le même message de reponse:
"Optimal Payment Gateway SOAP Error"
Nous avons verifié avec les banques et le site teambuy n'envoie pas la transaction. On a fait d'autres achâts sur le site et on a reussi, mais ce forfait est imposible de l'achêter. Je me demande si d'autres personnes ont eu le même problème ou s'il faut achêter seulement avec Paypal. Il reste que 24 heures pour la fin du forfait.

We took this trip in April and Voyages Routair was excellent. We were even surprisingly pleased with RAM. A wonderful trip organised by seasoned professionals. And Egypt itself is amazing. Everything was first class - cruise,hotels,meals,guides,transportation. It exceeded our exceptations. For the price, don' t hesitate to book this trip.

I understand that the price for a child under 11 is $1555. I'm wondering if there is a cheaper price for a child under 2. Usually airlines give the option of a lap seat opposed to them having to purchase their own seat and thus would it be less money?

I took the April trip as well. Our hotel and cruise boat were upgraded so was very good value for the money. Tourism is down in Egypt which is an advantage as there are no crowds at the wonderful ancient attractions. I definitely recommend it.

Very close to making the booking final, but wanted to check as to whether all the land tours( e.g. Aswan, Giza, Sphinx, etc are covered in the package price. I'm assuming from what I see, the only cost (other than spending money) that will be booking related , would be 3990 for two plus 52.00 for two Egyptian Visas. All airport/and transfer and taxes are included.

1) what's the general age group?
2) when you say 18 meals, are you including the breakfasts that the hotels are offering?
3) Do you know which hotel we are staying at (the 3* or 4*) at this point?

1) The total number of participants is not yet known,but the average age is +/- 40 to 50
2) the breakfast is considered as a meal of course
3) the President or Oasis or similar
4) our rate of $ 1995 is applicable for the departure of Montreal
5) we have had several departures for the last months and everything went on perfectly well and the travellers satisfied
6) you get very easily your egyptian visa at Cairo Airport
7) this is a group package, however we can study with the concerned airline the possibility of your extention, give me the city and dates.

It states sept or oct trip. Do we get to pick which date we want? Is it possible to buy cancellation insurance and normal insurance to cover any problems that may arise? Does someone suggest the type of clothing we should bring? How many luggage are allowed? I've noticed that there are 21 purchases, therefore must have one person going alone. I'm thinking of going but have no one to go with. I'm just worried to end up with a group with only couples. Is it possible to know what the mix is with this particular group? Two people going together could possibly be just girlfriends going together.

  2. I haven’t received my TeamTickets yet, what do I do?
    Sign into your TeamBuy account and check your TeamTickets page in your My Buys.
  3. How do I check if my Buy went through?
    Check your TeamTickets in the My Buys section and if you purchase is there and is pending it means your purchase went through.
  4. I purchased the Buy, the minimum has been reached, but my tickets are still 'pending'?
    All tickets remain pending until the Buy finishes/closes. When the Buy countdown reaches 0, all tickets then become 'Active' and ready for download and use.
  5. How does the gifting option work?
    On the shopping Bag page you can click on the “Gift” option. If you want to gift a ticket afterwards you are able to simply give the TeamTicket away even if it has your name on it (tickets are transferrable). If you didn’t gift it at the time of purchase and prefer to have the name changed, email info@teambuy.ca with the name you would like on the TeamTicket.
