Be careful with this buy. A while ago I got a tablet through TeamBuy (supplier was Cooldroids) and when I got the item it did not work. Contacted Cooldroids to exchange or use warranty and they never got back to me. Contacted TeamBuy and they said they offered to send me a new tablet - because of the bad experience. All this happen like 2 months ago and I have not received anything from TeamBuy either...contacted them and no reply.
Just thought of sharing with you my experience so that you take your precautions

Hey frank, I looked into this and it says, and this is pretty deceatful, that it is 3G compatible via " external USB 3G"... Meaning any computer or tablet with a USB slot is 3G compatible because you can go pay for one of those expensive "rocket sticks" from an ISP. Also the company's domain name was registered on June 6th 2012, I'll bet ya as soon as this team buy is over, that websit disappears. And for those two reasons.. I'm out. If its too good to be true. It probably is. Best of luck!

That is not entirely accurate. Some apps have to be installed on the internal memory card in order to work, and so adding a larger external SD card will not help in those situations.

Hi I have a few questions. Firstly, how much will I be paying for "handling and taxes"? What will be MY total cost of the tablet including all charges? Also if something malfunctions within the one year of warranty, where do I have to take the tablet? Is it located in Toronto? If not, will they pay for the shipping? Lastly, is the box it comes in the same as the green one in the video, and is the tablet fully white on the back (Any writing etc)? I received my TeamBuy last week 10.2" Tab. The screen is not transparent, only the wallpaper screen the homescreen isn't, it will be good in their next UPDATE if the yadd that feature. As well when in a sleep mood there is no button to touch to open again not unless you touch the power button lightly?

In the questions above it states that the codes will be available with the merchant today but they aren't as of yet. It also says above that the codes with the merchant will be available June 29th. When I purchased the deal my expiry date was June 29th, now my ticket says July 6th. It originally said I could place my order today, I would really rather place my order today if possible.
When is the real date to place the order for those who purchased this before the extension?

i am having the same problem like most other people. when i goto ooh buyers website and enter the ticket number. it say ticket number is wrong or no product exist with this ticket number. you guys (team buy people) told me they will upload all vouchers over the weekend it sunday(june24, 2012) at 8:15pm almost end of the day and i just tried again and same message again and i ordered two tablets.. PLEASE HELP I HOPE THIS IS NOT A SCAM OR SOMETHING

Just got off the phone with customer service and they have informed me that their supplier (the company that has the tablets and are shipping them out) still has not uploaded all the codes. She told me that she will ensure that they have uploaded them all. She told me to check back later in the day. What is disappointing is Teambuy has been silent.

I am having so much trouble redeeming my tickets, i bought two tablets and i tried to redeem the first one they said its valid ticket but i will have to open an account on ohh buyers so i did open an account and tried to redeem the first ticket and NOW the ticket wouldn't work, it say its already used or no product so first ticket i can't redeem at all and then i tried to redeem the second and that worked perfectly alrite because i already had an account opened. I NEED HELP IN REDEEMING THE OTHER TICKET PLEASE. i also emailed ohh buyers at info@ohhbuyers.com and emailed both ticket numbers to them to help me but no response so far. PLEASE HELP ASAP SINCE I EMAILED BOTH TICKET NUMBERS TO OHH BUYERS ALREADY SO THEY DO HAVE THE INFORMATION TOO SO PLEASE TALK TO THEM AND ANSWER ME ASAP. THANK YOU.

I understand that the deal was extended and that the merchant requires time to upload the codes. I attempted it again last night (Monday night) with no success. Now today when I log on to oohbuyers the site is closed for maintenance. I was wondering when I can redeem the buy as I don't want it to expire?

My code worked and I went to the oohbuyers site and had to create an account. I tried to create the account but it would not let me choose a country and would not open the account because of this. When I try to go back in with the voucher number it says it has already been used.

folks it seems to me that its time to get the money back...it sems to me as a scam of giving codes which continue to be extended with no rationale....team buy if they need to keep its reputation intact should connect it with the vendor or create an alternate strategy to deliver the tablet...even if the delivery needs to be picked up....Team Buy response required...on alternates....

Ok what is going on? The oohbuyer.com site has been under maintenance for the last 3 days. When it is not under maintenance it will allow me to go through the paypal process but it says "No Items In Cart" after I pay shipping and taxes. Did they just steal my info and are waiting to use my account? I have to change my passwords to paypal now.
If you want us to stay with this buy you need to say more than "The merchant is looking into it"
We need real answers.

Okay, so here it is June 28, but the www.oohbuyer.com website, which you are supposed to go to in order to redeem your purchased tickets, is still down. Every time I check it, the date and time for the site returning to "up and running" status keeps changing. Right now it says, "Our site is currently under maintenance, we will be back up and running Thursday June 28th 2 pm, please check back with us at that time to redeem your quality products. Have a wonderful day.". I've seen this date and time change at least three times in the last three days. It seems to keep getting pushed back. Thank goodness, I didn't purchase this "deal" and possibly become a sucker. I've been following this "deal" for days now and actually was hoping all of these issues would be resolved, so that I could make the purchase, but at this rate, it's not worth the worry and troubles that everyone else is still dealing with. I wasn't able to find any legitimate reviews on this company and this tablet. The company's website, www.vienainnovations.com, to me, doesn't appear to have much information. Right now, the only information that I could find is about their various tablets, ("Products"), their home page, which doesn't tell you much, and their "Profile" page, which also seems to be lacking in information, for things that you might expect to find. I didn't find their company location, address, phone numbers, staff/president, etc. They do have two email address, though, plus what their philosophy is, but that's it. NONE of the other links or tabs on the site appear to work. Try clicking on "Downloads", "where to Buy", "Accessories", "Comparison Chart", or any other link, and I'll bet that it says "Coming Soon" , at least, that's all I could see. So, where does this leave me..... Many people are having difficulties trying to redeem their purchased tickets, lacking info on their company website, ticket redemption web site down, not much, if any information about this tablet on the Internet.......This leads me to think SCAM. Anyhow, I sincerely hope I'm wrong, and that this deal is legit, and that they work out all of their ticket redemption issues in time, so that potential buyers such as me, can see this and make the purchase. No real fault of Team Buy... They might have been scammed themselves. Team Buy did a good job in trying to bring us this great sounding deal, but so far it's not going very smoothly. I think Team Buy has our best interests at heart and will protect our purchases with a refund if the deal can't be completed. @ Team Buy... Do you have any news on what the latest status is for resolving the ticket redemption process? Thanks.

    Sign into your TeamBuy account and check your TeamTickets page in your My Buys.
  3. How do I check if my Buy went through?
    Check your TeamTickets in the My Buys section and if you purchase is there and is pending it means your purchase went through.
  4. I purchased the Buy, the minimum has been reached, but my tickets are still 'pending'?
    All tickets remain pending until the Buy finishes/closes. When the Buy countdown reaches 0, all tickets then become 'Active' and ready for download and use.
  5. How does the gifting option work?
    On the shopping Bag page you can click on the “Gift” option. If you want to gift a ticket afterwards you are able to simply give the TeamTicket away even if it has your name on it (tickets are transferrable). If you didn’t gift it at the time of purchase and prefer to have the name changed, email info@teambuy.ca with the name you would like on the TeamTicket.
